Hi, I'm Josh Williams.

I am an accomplished interactive storyteller and web developer who translates complex reporting, striking photography and dense datasets into clear and compelling visual stories.

As a multimedia editor at The New York Times since 2011, I've worked on many of our most ambitious visual reporting projects, including Emmy Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning stories.

Previously, I built exhibits at the Smithsonian Institution and led a team of designers and developers at the Las Vegas Sun. My career highlight: I taught full time in the journalism program at UC Berkeley and as an adjunct at Columbia University.
